About Us

Joe Hanes started the Fish Magnet Guide Service in  early 1986. We’re conveniently located on the banks of the world class Kenai River. We provide guided fishing and lodging and do our best to assure that your Alaska fishing adventure will be fun, enjoyable and memorable.

Our comfortable Alaskan cabins are only a short walk from the river.

Guests are welcome to take photographs of the eagles, waterfowl, moose and other wildlife, or even fish the bank of the Kenai River for sockeye, silver and pink salmon, dolly varden or trout.
