Greg Geller

Greg has lived in Alaska for over 50 years. He’s been fishing the Kenai since he was a boy. He has guided nearly twenty years. He enjoys both hunting and fishing with his two sons. In the off season he works as a lead drill site operator in the Cook Inlet oilfield. Greg’s an expert King Salmon fisherman in the lower Kenai. There’s no other guide that tries harder and is as productive as Greg in catching Kenai Kings.

 

Chris Hanson

Chris has lived in Alaska almost 20 years and has been guiding on the Kenai nearly 15 years. Chris also enjoys fishing and hunting with his son Ross and daughter Hunter.

Chris is an elite lower river King guide fishing several techniques to get big Kings to bite. He also is an excellent middle river Trout guide. In the off season he is a science teacher at the local high school.

 

Steve McClure

Steve has been living and guiding for twenty plus years and has been a Alaska resident for nearly 45 years. He is a past president of Kenai River Guides Association.You cannot find a nicer person to fish with.

Steve is an elite guide in many fisheries but his knowledge of the Middle Kenai below Skilak Lake for Silver Salmon and Trout is unparalleled.

 

 

Mike Crawford

Big Mike is a mountain of a man which comes in handy when fishing for monster fish in the ocean. Mike guides in the Fish Magnet marine vessel out of the Port of Seward. A gentle giant, he has fished Alaska for nearly 20 years. A few years back we talked him into guiding as his knowledge of Prince William Sound is fantastic. Mike has the exuberance of a new guide with the knowledge of a season veteran and is joy to fish with.

 

 

Andy Szczesny

Andy is a Rainbow Trout specialist. He has been living in Alaska and guiding fly fishermen for giant Rainbows and Dolly Varden for nearly 30 years. Andy hold s a coveted Kenai National Wildlife Refuge permit in the upper section of the Kenai River. This is a drift boat-only fishery. Tthe mountainous scenery is spectacular. Fly fishing is Andy’s passion. Sockeye Salmon Rainbows and Dolly Varden are all plentiful depending on the time of year.

 

 

Ross Hanson

Ross has been working at Fish Magnet since he was 9. He is the “glue” that keeps it all going. Ross is well versed showing people how to red fish and even helping clients with their luggage. He’s a great kid who will go the extra mile the make your stay wonderful. When we come in from a big day of fishing Ross is our specialist unloading the boatload full of fish. Ross is a passionate young man who will help you anyway he can. Ross does it all.
