Alaska Hunting

Here at Fish Magnet Guide Service we are all avid hunters.

After chasing fish all summer we always joke that now its time to go hunt something we can see. Fishing for large kings on the Kenai is actually more like hunting than fishing in that we are looking for the true trophy fish.

Many of our clients are also hunters so we thought we would show off some of their pic’s and videos. We do not guide hunting but know several reputable guides and outfitters and are happy to give their contact information to our clients.

Hunters often include fishing in with their trip to the northland. We are always flexible to accommodate these spur of the moment trips.If it’s a spring brown bear hunt that was successful early or is delayed due to weather, we have great May saltwater King salmon and Halibut fishing.

In the fall successful hunters often spend a day or two catching big Rainbow trout, Silver Salmon or Halibut. Many of these trips arise at the last second as bad weather or early success determines whether or not hunters can “squeeze in a little extra fun.”

A great day of fishing seems to make the clouds go away sooner!
